I used social media for a while. Then I had breakfast—flatbread soaked in ghee. When I was about to leave for the office, my motorcycle wouldn’t start. With only ten minutes left, I started walking. On the way, I messaged the line superintendent that I would be five minutes late. Thankfully, I informed him; otherwise, I would have been fined for being late.
When I reached the office, the staff was just heading out. I greeted everyone, and we all sat in the truck. We filled 48 liters of diesel at the petrol pump and then reached the site. There were many trees there that needed to be cut to maintain a safe clearance for the power line. We had just started cutting one tree when the irrigation department staff arrived. One of them said their labor was coming and would handle the cutting. We just kept moving the ladder back and forth while they did the rest with a chainsaw. We mostly sat there, and I started getting a headache.
On the way back, we all had dahi bhallay. The rest of the staff also added a samosa, but I only had dahi bhallay because samosas are quite heavy. On the way back from the office, I bought loquats worth 500 rupees. When I got home, I wasn’t hungry, but my wife hadn’t eaten lunch because of me. Even though I wasn’t hungry, I still ate with her. After that, I took a tablet for my headache.
While we were still eating, a strong windstorm suddenly started. Our solar panels were lying without a stand because we haven’t been able to afford one yet. Due to the wind, one solar panel hit another, which caused a scratch on it.
